Inspection of the Condition of the Royal Palace of Kandy

Hon. Vidura Wickramanayake, State Minister of National Heritage, Performing Arts and Rural Art Promotion, Ms. K.A.D.R. Nishanthi Jayasinghe Secretary to the Ministry of National Heritage, Performing Arts and Rural Art Promotion, Prof. Anura Manatunga Director General of Archeology and a group of officials from the Department of Archeology joined in an inspection of the Royal Palace of Kandy to understand its current status on 8^th September 2021.   

Director General of Archaeology and the officers of the Department explained the current condition of the Royal Palace to the Hon. Vidura Wickramanayake explained the activities planned for its conservation.
