This noble event had been organized with the intention of invoking blessings for speeding up the restoration tasks and for the health and safety of the employees with the leadership of Sri Lanka Air Force in parallel to the restoration works of the Neelagiri Maha Seya, Ampara. This Pirith chanting ceremony continued for seven whole days, effective from 20.03.2023. Officers of the Department of Archaeology and the Department of Civil Security participated in this event.
Chanting of Pirith is carried out at Neelagiri Maha Seya continuously for seven days.
