Research on Plasters and damage to the walls
Samples were obtained from the walls and the plaster to identify the construction material of the Royal Palace. This was an important first step in the conservation process and would provide information for detailed estimates required for the conservation. Mr. Rasika Dissanayake (Civil Engineer) led the endeavor in obtaining the samples and monitoring the damage to the walls.
