               belief on her husband of saving  the kingdom. Accordingly,  Ehelepola  Kumārihāmi

               has become a legend in the contemporary society where people celebrate her because
               of  being  a  unique  individual  in  the  Sri  Lankan  history.  After  her  death,  people

               celebrate  her  legacy  through  portraying  her  life  in  different  forms  of  arts.  In  the
               contemporary society, the Sri Lankan contemporary historical novelist was also able

               to  celebrate  Ehelepola  Kumārihāmi  while  adding  her  as  a  role  model  among

               contemporary Sri Lankan readership.
