Information regarding the history of ancient pond technology was gathered from
library references and previous research papers serving as secondary data. The field

survey proved to be an efficient and effective method for this study. It focused on the
current condition of the pond. The fieldwork involved interviews and participant

observation of the pond technology and archaeological evidences in there. So, they
were used to analyze through the data with photographs and rough plans. The final

conclusion was reached using all the above methods.
