The conservation efforts for the roof of the ancient Dharamshala, designated as a protected archaeological monument within Bandaragama Paragasthota Purana Vihara in the Western Province, are currently underway. These preservation activities are being conducted under the auspices of the Western Provincial Archaeology Office, with the support of chief incumbent Rev. Kirinde Rathanapala Thera and the Donor Council of the temple.
