Obverse

A gold (⅛ ) aka coin. The stylized human figure facing right wearing a dhoti. The sanka mark on the right hand held up towards the face with the elbow close. A headdress on the back of the head. Below the right is a lamp-like sign. All symbols are surrounded by a dotted circular line.

Reverse

All characters are surrounded by a dotted line. The dotted line is not marked in some places due to manufacturing errors. In the middle of this dot pattern is written a text in Ardha Nagari script (Daraka). There is a dot mark above the letter Ra.

Place of find

It has been mentioned in the documents of the University of Kelaniya that it is assumed that it was found in the vicinity of the Jaffna Kantharodaya archeological site.
